By James Agberebi: Former Nigeria international, Vincent Enyeama, has described his official debut game for the Super Eagles against England at the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan as one of his most memorable games.

Enyeama stated this on his verified Twitter handle while reacting to a three minutes short video uploaded on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Twitter handle showing the Super Eagles vs England match at the 2002 FIFA World Cup  in Korea/Japan which ended 0-0.

The throwback video was on the back of the June 2 international friendly game between England and Nigeria which was confirmed by the English Football Association on Wednesday.

On parade for England at the 2002 World Cup clash were stars like David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Sol Campbell, David Seaman, Ashley Cole and Michael Owen.

The likes of Austin Okocha, Julius Aghahowa, Joseph Yobo and Vincent Enyeama who made a stunning save off an effort from Scholes played for the Eagles.

Commenting on the video, Enyeama wrote on his tweeted: “First competitive match of my international career. What a memorable one it was. Still feels like it was yesterday.”
