Its Coordinator in the state, Alhaji Abubakar Umar told the Newsmen in Kano on Saturday, that the council was also able to dispose of 107 of the cases while 222 cases were ongoing.
The coordinator identified inadequate operational vehicles and basic logistics as major constraints it was battling with.
He said that the council had also stepped up efforts to keep the populace abreast of its activities.
“Às part of efforts to enlighten the people on our mandate, the council recently embarked on massive public enlightenment campaign to sensitise members of the public to its services.
”Our services are free and we are always ready to listen,” he said.
Umar, however, expressed concern over the paucity of funds which, he said, hampered the smooth operation of the council.
He called for adequate funding of the agency to enable it discharge its functions more efficiently
