Tador was once Commissioner for Information in the state. She was also once an Editor with the defunct Daily Times, Lagos.

The new GM’s wife, Mrs Florence Fiberisima of the Ministry of Justice, was last week appointed Secretary of Judicial Commission of Inquiry that would investigate the immediate past Governor Chibuike Amaechi.

Sampson Fiberisima’s stint in the Silverbird Radio and Television saw a phenomenal growth of the broadcasting station, making the toast of its listeners in Rivers and environs.

The reason for his resignation some months ago is unclear.

However, he is expected to bring his wealth of experience in the private broadcasting station to bear while in Radio Rivers, which is wholly owned by the state government.
